I asked my friends and people in my neighbourhood the same question “อยากได้อะไรเป็นของขวัญปีใหม่ /yàak dâai à-rai bpen kăwng-kwăn bpii-mài/ What would you like to have for New Year gift?”. They give different answers which offer you interesting new vocabulary. Also they speak in normal speed which is a good listening practice for you.
I would like you to just listen to what they say without reading the text I provide first, check how much you can understand. And then read the text, go back to listen to the interview for the second round and check if you can understand better.
Here are the answers the interviewee give:
อยากให้ครอบครัวมีความสุข

I want to go to Singapore.

Just an iPhone X Max is good enough.
ปีใหม่นี้ผมก็อยากได้ทองให้แม่สัก 1 บาท
/bpii mài níi pŏm yàak dâai tawng hâi mâe sàk nùeng bàad/
This new year I would like to get One Baht of Gold for my mom.
อยากให้ตัวเองนะคะมีสติ
yàak hâi dtua-eeng mii sà-dtì
I would like myself to be ไม่ว่าจะทำอะไรก็มีสติอยู่ตลอดเวลา
mâi wâ jà tam à-rai gâw mii sà-dtì dtà-làwd way-laa
No matter what I do, I’d like to be conscious all the time.
รู้ชัดทุกอย่างในทุกการกระทำของตัวเอง
rúu-chát túk-yàang nai túk gaan grà-tam kăwng dtu-enng
Be aware of my own actions.
ไม่ว่าจะทำอะไรก็มีสติอยู่ตลอดเวลา
mâi wâ jà tam à-rai gâw mii sà-dtì dtà-làwd way-laa
No matter what I do, I’d like to be conscious all the time.
ปีใหม่นี้อยากได้ลูกคนที่สองเป็นของขวัญปีใหม่
bpii mài níi yàak dâai lûuk kon tîi săwng bpen kăwng-kwăn bpii-mài
This new year, I’d like to have the second baby as a NY gift.
จริงๆแล้วอยากให้มีตั้งแต่ปีนี้
jing-jing gâw yàak hâi mii dtâng-dtàe bpii níi
I actually wanted the baby this year,
แต่ก็ยังไม่มา
dtàe gâw yang mâi maa
But (the baby) hasn’t arrived
ก็ขอให้ปีหน้ามีค่ะ
gâw kăw hâi bpii nâa mii kâ
So I would like to have h next year.

มีกินมีใช้ /mii gin mii chái/ = be wealthy
ต่างประเทศ /dtàang bprà-têet/ = abroad, overseas
ทอง /tawng/ = gold
สติ /sà-dtì/ = consciousness

I have a question about this sentence ให้มีกินมีใช้ตลอดปีตลอดไป
I translate it as “to eat and to use, all year round, forever.” You translate it as “to have wealth from now on.” Is ให้มีกินมีใช้ a colloquial way of saying “to be wealthy”?

2.No personnal detail when talking about Krop Krua? is it always this way?
