This lesson We are looking into useful phrases that are commonly used in shops or stores or when we go shopping. I think most of you already know how to ask the question “how much?” and bargain the price, but this lesson we will learn some more useful phrases for asking about product you want to buy.

How to say the price like a Thai
1,200 is nùeng pan sŏrng rói. In spoken Thai, the word ‘nùeng’ and the last unit are dropped so we only say pan sŏrng
17,000 is nùeng mùen jèt pan. In spoken Thai it is mùen jèt
430,000 is sìi săen săam mùen. In spoken Thai it is sìi săen săam
9,600,000 is gâao láan hòk săen. In spoken Thai it is gâao láan hòk
Hope you enjoy this lesson as much as we enjoy making it. 🙂

Very nice. Native English speakers will say “made from” interchangeably with “made of.” Neither is more right or wrong than the other.

What’s the difference between ไว้+verb and จะ+verb?Thank you Mod
Mod says
“จะ + verb” means ‘you are going to do something in a future and you are certain about the time. i.e. ผมจะโทรหาคุณพรุ่งนี้ (I’ll call you tomorrow)
“ไว้ + verb” equals ‘later’ , we don’t specify when we will do something.
