Thailand’s rainy season are usually May/June to October. For some reason many Thai people get a cold very easily in this period. If your Thai friends or loved ones happen to be unwell, you could say something nice like ‘get well soon’ to them in Thai and I’m sure they would be very happy to hear that:)
The expression ‘get well soon’ in Thai is หายไวไว [hăai wai-wai]
หาย [hăai] means to recover from illness (It is long vowel, and rising tone)
(The other meanings are to disappear, to be missing)
ไว [wai] or เร็ว [reo] means fast, quickly (We always repeat the adverb when we tell someone to do something, in this case you tell someone to recover)
To speak like a Thai, the particle ná ká/kráp is added at the end of the expression so it sounds nice and friendly.
