They have been greatly influenced by foreigners in terms of food, clothing, including language. This is why there are many English loanwords in the Thai language that are commonly used in everyday life.
However, Thai people pronounce these loanwords the same way they pronounce Thai words which means there are five tones fall on these English loanwords so it might be hard for you to understand Tinglish before you hear them often enough.
