We have seen how the nine Middle class consonants look like in the previous lesson. Now let’s learn how to write each letter, shall we?
I wrote all these letter myself, so please accept my apology if the pictures are not very clear.
[1] ก.ไก่ (Gaw Gài)
[2] จ.จาน (Jaw Jaan)
[3] ด.เด็ก (Daw Dèk)
[4] ต.เต่า (Dtaw Dtào)
[5] ฎ.ชฎา (Daw Chá-daa)
[6] ฏ.ปฏัก (Dtaw Bpà-dtàk)
[7] บ.ใบไม้ ( Baw Bai máai)
[8] ป.ปลา (Bpaw Bplaa)
[9] อ.อ่าง (Aw àang)
Have you noticed that we always start writing at the head of the letter if there is one ? 🙂
Keep practicing!

Mod, which word we pronounce in Thai we write that type or as usual for example cat but we pronounce it as khat kh sound so we will write cat in Thai or khat kh in Thai
Mod says
Sawatdee ka Annapurna, I am sorry I don’t quite understand your question. Are you talking about the English word ‘cat’ which is the animal or a Thai word that is pronounced ‘cat’? I am afraid I cannot tell the correct spelling without knowing the meaning of the word because there are different spelling for one sound.

I always thought ฎ ฏ came before ด ต in alphabetical order.
Mod says
You are right, ฎ and ฏ come before ด and ต in the alphabet order, but I personally write ด and ต first because they are more commonly used. 🙂
