How Good is Your Thai? (LEVEL 1 TEST)

Tuesday March 19, 2019 by Mod 29 Comments

Last week I uploaded a test which I designed for beginners, I am happy that you seem to enjoy it, but many of you took the test and commented that it was very difficult. So for this week I created a new video with a new set of questions. For intermediate and advanced learners please stay tuned for the next level test in the future.

Now get out your pen and paper, and write down the answers. I want you to comment below with your score. Let’s get started with the quiz!

I failed on all of these. I know some basic words but not sentences as of yet. I want to start on one of your basic courses but not sure I’m even at that level !

it’s a great idea to establish your level of thai – all about progression i guess.
    really gets you thinking.
I have been meaning to take a class for a long time.
So it was a great little taster test –
It would have been great if you could say the sentences a couple of times since all the senses come into play -not least sound, tone, speed, delivery and who is talking too helps my slow brain engage a little easier 🙂
    Big thanks
    Ade

    9/10.
Forgot the word ‘hard’ in question number 4.
this yaak – falling tone, ยาก now i can remember as about same as yaak – low tone (want) in อยาก.

Hello. Thank you for lesson. It would help a lot if you could leave the answer on screen a little bit longer or maybe repeat it. and perhaps less of a countdown. I’ve tried to pause it but the BIG arrow blots out the text

Only gotten 1/10 “Kun tam ngaan yuut tii nai?” correct.

Answered question 8 as “prung nii tam arai “.
forget to use “kun ja” and placed “prung nii” wrongly in front “.
Good try though for a new learner.
