5 Thai Slang Words for Sexy
First, there is no Thai word for “sexy”. We use the borrowed word from English and pronounce it with Thai accent. It is pronounced /sék-sîi/ เซ็กซี่.
How interesting that the words that are related to food are also to describe “sexy”; the word “spicy – เผ็ด /pèt/“, “sour – เปรี้ยว /bprîao/“, and แซ่บ /sâep/ that means delicious in Esan dialect.
Finally the word เย้ายวน /yáo-yuan/ which means “seductive” can also use for sexy.
Sentence examples:
- คุณดูเซ็กซี่มาก /kun duu sék-sîi mâak/ You look very sexy.
- คุณใส่ชุดนี้ดูเผ็ดมาก /kun sài chút níi duu pèt mâak/ You look very sexy in this dress.
- คุณทาลิปสีแดงเปรี้ยวมาก /kun taa líp sǐi deang bprîao mâak/ You are so sexy wearing red lips.
- รองเท้าคู้นี้แซ่บมาก /rawng-táao kûu níi sâep mâak/ These shoes are really sexy.
- ตาของเขาเย้ายวนมาก /dtaa kăwng kăo yâo-yuan mâak/ or เขามีตาที่เย้ายวนมาก /kăo mii dtaa tîi yâo-yuan mâak/ Her eyes are so sexy.

You are right! แซ่บ means delicious in Isaan dialect. However many non Isan Thai use the word แซ่บ for spicy too. 🙂

Hello,
Thank you so much again Pear and Mod for your lesson 🙂 I would like to try the game :
ครูแปรมีลิปเปรี้ยวมาก / คุณไม่ต้องการใส่เสื้อผ้าที่เย้ายวนเผื่อดูเปรี้ยว
is that correct ??
Mod says
Thank you for your participation. You did well. 🙂
Lips in Thai is ริมฝีปาก or in spoken Thai you can just say ปาก. The first sentence would be ครูแพรมีปากที่เซ็กซี่มาก ( I should clarify that the word เปรี้ยว is usually used to describe sexy appearance such as clothing, hairstyle, shoes.
You don’t need to wear sexy clothes to look sexy – คุณไม่ต้องใส่เสื้อผ้าที่เย้ายวนเพื่อดูเปรี้ยว
May I correct a small mistake? ต้องการ means “need to” as in “demand to do or to have something”.
( เพื่อ – in order to)
( เผื่อ – just in case)

ขอบคุณมากนะครับคุณครู 🙂
