Is, รักแท้แพ้ระยะทาง /rák táe páe rá-yá-taang/ Out of sight, out of love — or True love defeats distance?
I’d prefer to tell my girlfriend in Chiang Mai that “True love defeats distance. I’ll be back soon.”
I don’t want to say, “Out of sight, out of love”
I am sorry for the confusion. รักแท้แพ้ระยะทาง /rák táe páe rá-yá-taang/ actually means “Long distance relationships never work.” I think an English expression would be “out of sight, out of mind”, like in Ed Sheeran’s song – “Lego House”.
“out of sight, out of mind” in english, is not used in a similar manner to “LDRs don’t work”
easy to undestand
