I think many tourists know the local weekend market, Jatujak (จตุจักร), but I am not sure if many people are aware of a beautiful park near the market. Thai People call this park “Rotfai Park” (สวนรถไฟ) or the official name is “Wachirabenchatat park” (สวนวชิรเบญจทัศ).
I love going to a park in the late afternoon (it’s too hot before that!). I like jogging, breathing the clean air, and watching family spending time together. It is so much better than going to a mall!
If you need a break from the polluted air in the city, you should check out this park. You can find more information about this park here: http://22.214.171.124/office/ppdd/publicpark/english/mainpark/E_rotfai.html
* park in Thai is สวน (suan)

Do you like going to a park?
thank you so much your beautiful review, your writing is very helpful for me ^^
Thank you for your comment. I am happy to hear that you found my post helpful. 🙂
This is exactly what I was looking for so I can exercise in Bangkok when I am there next month. Thanks for all the insider tips you have been extremely helpful.
jog = wing-yor-or
How do you say “How far do you jog?”
Suan rot-fai suay mak.
‘jog’ in Thai is วิ่งเหยาะๆ [wîng yòr – yòr*] the vowel is short
‘far’ is ไกล [glai]
‘How?’ (asking for numerical answer) is เท่าไหร่ [tâo-rài]
= คุณวิ่งเหยาะๆไกลเท่าไหร่ [kun wîng yòr – yòr glai tâo-rài?]
Thank you for visiting my blog:) kop kun ka.
Kop chai. You are so kind.
Mod, it’s so beautiful. I was only in Lumpini park… but this time I’ll visit this place!
